We’ve built a lot of data apprenticeship programmes.
For some of the biggest providers in the sector. Across the Level 3 and Level 4 standards. From scratch, through COVID, through standards changes, through the full cycle of build, deliver, review, rebuild.
And somewhere along the way, we realised we kept ending up in the same place.
A provider would start with real ambition. Good intentions. A plan. Then the team would get stretched, resources would shift, and the programme would plateau. What was supposed to be excellent would settle for good enough.
Nobody ever came back to make it better.
We started to feel like we were part of the problem. Not because the work wasn’t good (it was) but because the model meant that every programme we built would eventually stop at first draft.
And we didn’t want to build first drafts anymore.
So we built EduRen.
Instead of building a curriculum for one provider and moving on, we built one curriculum and decided to keep improving it, indefinitely. One programme, expertly designed, continuously developed, available to providers who want to deliver it without carrying the cost of building it themselves.
The result is a data apprenticeship curriculum that doesn’t stagnate. Because it’s not a side project or a one-off contract; it’s the whole job. Every bit of time and energy we put in goes back into making it better.
What this means for you.
What that means for a training provider is this:
- You get a complete, ready-to-deliver programme without the twelve months of build time and the team it requires.
- You pay as your learners progress, not upfront. The financial model is designed around how you’re funded.
- When standards shift or the market moves, the curriculum moves with it. You don’t have to divert resource to react; that’s already covered.
And the programme keeps getting better.
Because that’s the point.

Lianne Hartley
CEO and Founder
I’m Lianne Hartley. I’ve worked in data apprenticeships for over a decade as a learner, a coach, a curriculum designer and now as the founder of EduRen.
I’ve designed and built programmes for some of the sector’s largest providers. I know the standards inside out, I know where delivery tends to break down and I know what it takes to make a data programme that learners actually engage with.
EduRen is the thing I kept wishing existed when I was working inside other people’s programmes.
So I built it myself.
